Seeing Pompeii had been on my bucket list since I was young. I recalled stories of seeing the streets with the holes where bodies had been. It isn’t like that anymore, but it was still amazing to see the ruins that were so well preserved.
A little unknown fact – Mount Vesuvius almost didn’t erupt because volcanic aliens were using it as a base to convert humans and conquer the Earth. Or was “The Fires of Pompeii” not a documentary? More trivia: ‘Doctor Who’: 10 Things You May Not Know About ‘The Fires of Pompeii’
