We shot sunrise at Diamond Beach, where chunks of glacial ice wash up from the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon onto the black rocky shore, on two consecutive mornings. We also shot at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon three times – once in the evening, once at night, and once in the morning. So the photos below are not necessarily consecutive.

This trip was my first time experimenting with slow shutter speeds to slow down the movement of water, especially the waves coming in. It involved a lot of experimentation and I took over 1000 photos at the beach. These are the ones I liked best.
