The Geneva Flower Clock was created in 1955 to celebrate Geneva’s watchmaking tradition. It is a functioning clock (the time is transmitted by satellite), approximately 5 meters across, made up of about 6,500 flowers and plants that change according to the season. It was the largest clock of its kind until 2005 when one 15 meters in diameter was installed in Tehran, Iran.
